SOS Land Plaques
These historical land plaques document the site, the shipwreck
remains and
the story with photos above and below water for divers and the public to appreciate
for decades
to come. The material is called Phenolic (a dense synthetic thermosetting
resin like Bakelite)
and is burn, scratch, cut, break, shatter, spray paint resistant as well as has
UV stable inks. These
plaques are the same quality and manufacturer used by museums and cities for
outdoor signage.
RED PINE BAY WRECK - Placed Summer 2003

Located in Braeside Ontario on the grass in the park overlooking the site
near the boat ramp at the waterfront park beside wood mill.
ROTHESAY - Placed October 20, 2007

Located west of Prescott at Riverview Heights, on County Rd2 at Merwin Lane,
on the grass at the top of the stair case to the water.
CONESTOGA - Placed October 20, 2007

Located in Cardinal Ontario on the waterfront west of the Legion.
Take the dirt road west along a spit of land till you pass the ships steam
engine.
